On March 25, 2025, the Amstability leadership team had the profound honor of attending the TAPS Honor Guard Gala at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
For over 25 years, this event has been a beacon of remembrance, bringing together military leaders, survivor families, and dedicated supporters to ensure that the legacies of America’s fallen heroes are never forgotten.
As an organization committed to stability, resilience, and support for those who serve, Amstability was proud to stand alongside TAPS President and Founder, Bonnie Carroll and its mission. The evening was a deeply moving experience—one that reinforced our commitment to those who have sacrificed for our nation.
A Night of Tribute and Reflection

Arriving at the historic National Building Museum, we were welcomed into a space filled with military officials, corporate leaders, political figures, and, most importantly, families of the fallen. The atmosphere was one of solemn remembrance and unwavering support.
The night began with an inspiring presentation of the colors by the Joint Services Color Guard, followed by a powerful rendition of the National Anthem by Yolanda Pelzer. As the evening unfolded, we listened intently to heartfelt words from Shannon Bream of FOX News, who set the tone for the event, and from Bonnie Carroll, TAPS Founder and President, who shared how TAPS continues to provide hope and healing for survivor families.

Recognizing True Leadership and Service

One of the most impactful moments of the evening was the presentation of the TAPS Military Mentor of the Year Award to Staff Sergeant Jarred Hufford, USA (Ret.). His dedication to guiding and uplifting military survivors is a testament to the power of mentorship and community.
We were also inspired to witness the Senator Ted Stevens Leadership Award being presented to Coach Dan Quinn, Head Coach of the Washington Commanders. His unwavering support for the military and survivor families exemplifies the leadership and service that TAPS seeks to honor.
Throughout the night, we were reminded that honoring the fallen means supporting the loved ones they left behind. The Military Service Medley, a poignant tribute to fallen heroes, and the heartfelt stories shared during the program reinforced the importance of organizations like TAPS in providing lasting care and connection for grieving families.
A Continued Commitment

As the evening concluded with the Red, White, and Blue Dessert Party, we reflected on the importance of Amstability’s role in supporting those who serve. The stories we heard and the people we met strengthened our commitment to fostering resilience, stability, and support for military families.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such a meaningful evening. TAPS’ mission aligns with Amstability’s core values, and we remain dedicated to ensuring that the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes are never forgotten.
